We celebrated Black and Women's History months together starting in March and coninuuing until the end of April. February 2024 was not a good month weather wise but we made it happen!  We had a lovely time wth live poets and a variety of art from some of Pittsburgh's finest artists.  

Moka on Soho delightfully hosted The Center for African American Poetry and Poetics (CAAPP) is a research and educational department at the University of Pittsburgh dedicated to African American and African diasporic poetry and poetics. "Its mission is to foster, further  and share the work of African American and African diasporic poets, encouraging cross-disciplinary conversations and creating an encompassing dossier of African American poetry and resources.
