CAAPP

Moka on Soho delightfully hosted The Center for African American Poetry and Poetics (CAAPP) is a research and educational department at the University of Pittsburgh dedicated to African American and African diasporic poetry and poetics. "Its mission is to foster, further  and share the work of African American and African diasporic poets, encouraging cross-disciplinary conversations and creating an encompassing dossier of African American poetry and resources. CAAPP also provides opportunities for poets, artists, and scholars through residencies, fellowships, and events."
