Moka on Soho had the pleasure of hosting artist Adam Masava. Adam is from Nairobi and has an artist collective there: https://sites.google.com/isk.ac.ke/mukuru-art-collective/about Some of Adam's work, made from corrugated steel scraps: Adam was brought to Pittsburgh courtesy of Nanci Goldberg of Ketchup City in Sharpsburg PA. We organized for Adam to speak with some of the children of Weil school, located across from Moka on Soho. Adam brought work samples, telling the children a little about his Mukuru art collective, his family and how impactful art has been in his life.
